Circuit Rider Training Program
This course covers the very basics of the water and wastewater industry and has been specifically developed to provide new operators, trainees and any public works staff who are interested in learning about the water/wastewater industry with a basic knowledge of the water/wastewater field. It’s a self-paced online course, and should take between 1-6 months to complete depending on work schedules, but can also be completed in as little as 1 week if schedule permits. There will be a final exam (proctored by the CRTP) that would require a 70% passing mark in order to receive the course certificate and the associated CEU’s (submitted to AEP and pending approval). NOTE: This is NOT a certification preparation course but rather an “introduction” into water and wastewater field with a high focus on workplace safety!

Fire Protection and Prevention Courses
Fire Prevention and Safety
Public awareness about fire safety is one of the first lines of defense in fire prevention. Fire prevention starts at home. To lower a community’s risk of fire, TSAG offers school presentations, community information sessions, and online learning opportunities for youth and community members. TSAG currently offers 13 lessons on Fire Safety & Prevention.

This course endeavors to help First Nations Peoples to work towards changing these statistics by providing information on:
- Home fire safety
- How to prevent all fires
- What, when and how wildfires occur
- How to protect your homes from wildfires
- How to create emergency and evacuation plans
- How they you act together as a community to mitigate wildfire damage to your community
Home Maintenance Program (HMP)
The Home Maintenance Program, or HMP, is a web-based course that offers training to assist with Home Maintenance for the Nation’s largest asset… their homes! With topics ranging from Health & Safety to tips and tricks for easy fixes, this course is guaranteed to provide participants with new knowledge and ways to encourage capacity building.
This program is useful for Housing Departments, Individuals looking to expand knowledge, or Technical Organizations & Tribal Councils.

The Pathway to Success course focuses on job skills and provides those essential attributes sought by employers today. Section 1 emphasizes communication skills, crucial for both professional and personal success. Section 2 explores learning styles, interests, and talents, as well as creating resumes and cover letters. Section 3 offers job-hunting strategies and interview preparation. Section 4 introduces workplace essentials like Employment Regulations and Occupational Health and Safety. Completing this course will leave participants polished and ready to impress employers!

The course covers goal setting, action planning, and how to understand and overcome barriers. It teaches how to create a budget and manage money as well as explains debt and how to maximize savings. This course will show participants how to turn their goals into realities. They will have a better idea of the future they want and will have created a solid plan to make it happen!
